Account Executive - Toronto

Softlanding helps organizations be their best by providing technology solutions and services that make them more productive. Softlanding specializes in Microsoft enterprise technology platforms, leveraging a combination of cloud, on-premises and hybrid configurations to increase productivity from the data center on out to end business users.  Softlanding's headquarters are in Vancouver and we are rapidly expanding into the southern Ontario market.  This sales position will service the Greater Toronto Area with occasional travel within Canada. 

Platform specialties include Azure, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite, System Center, PowerBI, SharePoint, Windows 10, and others. Our focus is on managed services, professional services, and custom development.  

Overview of Responsibilities:

We're looking for a Sales Professional to join our growing team, based in the GTA.  As an Account Executive at Softlanding, here's what we're looking for you to achieve:  

  • Develop new customers and grow sales in existing accounts.  
  • Successfully manage sales opportunities through to close.  
  • Manage both internal and partner resources involved in the sales process.  
  • Drive acceptable sales volumes for the business and achieve assigned objectives.  
  • Have the ability and confidence to develop and present to C-level audiences  
  • Set up and conduct numerous face-to-face customer meetings a week.  

Manage and take ownership of proposal writing and creation of SOW’s

About you:

You have four (4) or more years of experience selling professional services and/or managed services involving Microsoft solutions, cloud solutions and/or managed IT solutions. In addition, you have a proven track record of surpassing quota and have shown a proven ability to “close”. You demonstrate an ability to quickly acquire sales-level knowledge of new technologies.       

You are a self-starter able to take the initiative with prospects and customers with minimal supervision. You must have a high degree of energy and drive with a willingness to work hard.  

Nice to have:  

A Microsoft technical background, experience as a professional services or managed services consultant, Microsoft licensing sales experience, sales experience with custom-developed solutions, sales experience with both professional services and management services, relationships with IT leaders in the GTA
