Vancouver, BC – September28,2020 – Softlanding is delighted to announce it has earned two Microsoft Advanced Specializations this month.

  • Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Azure
  • Adoption and Change Management

Advanced specializations are a validation of a Microsoft partner’s ability to deliver high-fidelity services in a specific solution area and allow partners to unlock programs and funding that may support customers in their digital transformation journey.

To obtain an advanced specialization, the partner must have attained an aligned gold competency and met strict requirements audited by a third party.

While a competency measures the technical capability in a Microsoft technology or platform, advanced specialization measures in-depth capabilities in a specific solution area.

Softlanding has showcased deep knowledge, extensive experience, and proven success in migrating (and optimizing) Windows Server and SQL Server-based production workloads to Microsoft Azure as well as driving customer organizational change through adoption and change management services using Microsoft 365 technologies.

Softlanding maintains 10 Microsoft Gold and 3 Microsoft Silver competencies spanning cloud platform, cloud productivity, data analytics, application development and security to name a few. These two advanced specializations reinforce our capabilities in helping clients transition to cloud technologies successfully.

“Achieving an advanced specialization from Microsoft highlights deep knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft environment but also the ability to help organizations accelerate their business transformation,” says Mat Burke, Director of Sales at Softlanding. “Softlanding demonstrated its expertise and experience in helping clients drive digital transformation and enjoy the benefits of the cloud.”
