Waypoint Insurances’ growth strategy has been through the acquisition of other companies to expand its portfolio and reach, and provide exceptional products and services to a broader audience. As the company inherited the legacy infrastructure of the acquired companies, the old IT team faced numerous difficulties such as redundant and outdated technology which often resulted in delayed projects and increased cost of IT services. Waypoint needed a solution to optimize its IT infrastructure while simplifying its business.

Waypoint partnered with Softlanding who analyzed their legacy infrastructure and provided a strategic action plan for a simplified IT infrastructure. Softlanding worked closely with the Waypoint management team to create a high-level roadmap and move their outdated, costly and redundant on-premise IT infrastructure to cloud-based Microsoft Azure.
